Barbara Randall has had a successful career in the music industry for over twenty-five years.  Her appeal has been consistent and strong.  Before moving to Indianapolis in 2005, Randall, a vocalist of considerable talent, lent her impressive abilities to many of Detroit’s finest musical entities.
 
She grew up listening primarily to the Motown sound, and today listens to and performs all kinds of music, including jazz, r&b, pop, rock, blues, and adult contemporary.
 
Her inspiration is drawn from such legends as Billie Holliday, Nancy Wilson, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, and Patti Labelle.  From these influences, Randall had developed her unique style, and adds an extraordinary warmth and sincerity with which she communicates directly to the heart.
 
Among the highlights of her career, Randall lists opening in concert for babyface in 1999.  She appeared at the Birmingham Jazz festival in 1995, 1996, and 1999.  In 1998 through 2001, Randall performed at the Detroit Jazz festival.  She performed as a Diana Ross impersonator for Star Theatres from 1997-2001, and appeared in the Sounds of Motown Review at the Showtime Lounge in Windsor, Canada from 2001-2004. 
 
Since relocating to Indianapolis, in addition to private parties, Randall has performed at Indianapolis restaurants and nightspots such as Bella Vita, The Savoy, Infusion, The Fox Trot, Bourbon Street Distillery, Rick’s Boatyard Café, Wright’s Restaurant, Thai One On Restaurant, Goodfellaz, The Blue Martini, Avalon, Lutz’s Steakhouse, Vito’s Italian Restaurant, A.J.’s Lounge, The Corner Wine Bar, The Conrad Hilton Hotel, The Madam Walker Theatre, and La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant
